Server Guardian is not limited to any specific port, it can monitor any specified port such as 80 for http and 21 ftp. Server Guardian has a web based admin interface for updating service norices so your staff and customers can see if any maintenance is being carried out without the need of wasting your support staff's valuable time. Once a service or port on a monitored node is down, Server Guardian will display the problem on it's GUI and alert the person specified via email about the problem. Server Guardian also comes with multiple icons so you may change the look and feel of it to suite your website.
